No Lost Cause

No Lost Cause is a new Life Change Changes Lives project, funded by the Department of Justice, created to support people whose behaviour may reflect distress rather than intent. Inspired by Stevie Smith’s Not Waving but Drowning, the project combines creative activity, counselling, advocacy and practical training to help disadvantaged and disengaged individuals realise their potential. With early initiatives such as Food Hygiene Training and cooking sessions, No Lost Cause highlights the strong link between nutrition, behaviour and mental wellbeing, while offering pathways that build confidence, work readiness and long‑term change.
